EPAC’s 2024 – 2025 Membership year runs from October 1 to September 30. Between July 1 and September 3 we encourage new members to join for the next membership year at the full price listed on the rate forms found below and we will include the bonus of the remaining current year’s membership.

Member Categories

EPAC has two member categories. Please read the descriptions below to choose the category where your company belongs.

Producer Members

EPAC was established to be the voice of the junior and independent exploration and production companies within Canada’s upstream oil and gas industry. These Producer Members form the core of EPAC’s membership today.

Our Producer Members vary in size from small start-up companies to juniors and mid-sized independents. Many are publicly held and trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange or TSX Venture Exchange while many more remain privately held.

All our Producer Members have a common interest in ensuring that fiscal and regulatory policy in Canada promotes and sustains a thriving upstream oil and gas sector and recognizes the enormous contribution made by these companies to Canada’s prosperity and energy security.

Associate Members

EPAC also welcomes as non-Producer Associate Members many companies and firms that provide products and services to the upstream oil and gas industry and who recognize that a thriving upstream sector is essential to their long term business success.

Associate memberships are intended to show for Canada's entrepreneurial oil and gas sector. Associate members have the opportunity to be listed on the EPAC website, and Associate memberships are also reviewed with EPAC'S producer members annually.

From time to time, Associate members may also receive Advisories that EPAC provides to members with updates on current events affecting the industry and EPAC'S Producer Members.

Membership fees
$2.30 plus GST multiplied by boe/d production per day
Maximum annual membership fee $245,000.00 plus GST
10:1 boe Ratio for natural gas production

The Explorers and Producers Association of Canada (EPAC) membership year begins October 1, 2025 and ends September 30, 2026.

For companies joining EPAC mid-way through the year, membership fees will be pro-rated.

The amounts charged are based on the recent production numbers each company has filed with provincial governments.

For producers with non-Canadian production: your dues are calculated based on Canadian production only, we have excluded your foreign production in determining your membership dues.

Interested in supporting EPAC as a non-producer Associate Member?

EPAC welcomes as Associate Members companies who provide services, products, and technologies to the upstream oil and gas industry.

If you wish to become an Associate Member and have any questions, please contact us directly to tell us about your organization and we will respond promptly.

To become an Associate Member, fill out this form, and calculate your dues based on the number of employees in your organization here. Between January and September we will pro-rate the membership dues.
